Why wouldn't he do that? He supposedly drowned an estimated 30 million people in the flood.

When one is disobedient to God one suffers the consequences. In each of Gods dealings with sinners he has given them the option of doing good or continuing in sin. Those that chose to continue in sin placed themselves in to the the perils and pains that go with not repenting. Sodom and Gomorrah were full of sin. Long before the two cities were destroyed God agreed if there were men of God in there he would not destroy the city. It got bargained down to ten and God still agreed he would not destroy the cities. Lot and his family were the only ones in Sodom that were of a Godly nature and thus God held his promise, he was going to destroy the city. Angels came to take Lot out of the city. when fire and brimstone fell lots wife turned to watch and she became a pillar of salt, another case of disobedience.
Now we are in the End Times. if you have been obedient to God and his word ( Accepting Christ as your Savior and repenting your sin) you will not suffer the Tribulation.
People suffer because they have turned themselves away from God. It is Gods desire that not one person go to Hell (the lake of fire), but if you reject God then you have put yourself in Hell.

well since god is fairly smart he rightly concluded that people are the most renewable resource on earth and also the most expendable, so his decision to make a stairway to heaven out of corpses is the most ecologically sound. If you so desired, you could climb the stairway to heaven barefoot, as the feel of dead babies between the toes is just magnificent. If you have a live baby around just go ahead and step on one you will see what i mean.

You cannot take the Bible in a literal way, you have to realize that human beings back then did not had the scientific methods we have now, it would be improbable to say that there was someone taking note during those stories (that´s what they are, stories) and say that God did it. Try to understand the message on the story or whatever u wanna call it, that is what is important.

God the Father, which is in heaven, does not do theses things
Satan the God of Moses, and the author of the 10 Commandments does these things.

You know not what you worship, The False Christ has been here and you do worship him.

Read the 4 Gospels, read concerning Moses, and the Prophets.

By definition, if God is god, then He has to be perfect and he can't do anything that is wrong. So if He is god and he did it, then it would have been for a good reason, whether we understand it or not.

where do you see that in the Bible?

besides, when people died B.C. they were sent to Paradise or Hell. Jesus released some from Hell later anyway, so what's the harm? Now adays, death is permanent, except under special circumstances.

If you think about it, Armageddon will have many, many more dead killed "righteously" by god.

According to believers, most will be destroyed by goe because they have not taken Jesus as their savior. That includes people of all religions besides Christianity and that's billions

God can't do evil. All he can do is reward for good or punish for evil. I have to assume that those people were evil and that God gave them LOTS of chances to repent, but they chose not to.

The Bible doesn't say that so it is useless to conjecture about such things.
