It's probably the withdrawal of caffeine which chocolate also contains or you are experiencing low blood sugar levels!
Restrictive diets are not a healthy way to give up weight as we psychologically crave the foods we stop eating. Little amounts as a treat occasionally make it easier and stop you feeling you've failed when the craving gets too much! Learn to eat like a naturally thin person! Little and often fools the body into thinking food is plentiful, speeds up the metabolism and the body burns the fat instead of storing it!

Yes it can be from the chocolate. There was a discussion about this in the movie Supersize Me. Chocolate helps the release of more dopamine in the brain, which is a "feel good" chemical. Take the chocolate away and you lose that feeling. You should taper the chocolate off your diet little by little.
Nothing ever beats the high of a good workout!

probably not... unless you ate enough of it to experience the caffeine which would be a lot. It is not uncommon to experience headaches from diet changes in general which would be one of the many reasons people go off of them!
Chocolate is actually good for you in moderation. It contains Lecithin which is a bad fat emulsifier. YOU CAN EAT CHOCOLATE!
My favorite chocolate is the new Hersheys with the Nibbs in it.
I love cacao but it is hard to find already roasted and that is the only way to eat it... The Hershey is dark and has little nibs of cacao inside it and it is out of this world! Healthy, dark so you can't eat a whole lot of it and it is so damn good!
It honestly satisfies something a little bit more than just plain chocolate does.
Try eating roasted cacao beans... They are fan freeking tastic! and addictive...

I doubt the headaches are from cutting out chocolate unless it was the mainstay of your diet. Did you also cut out coffee & or tea ?? Now that will give you headaches....
You can still have a piece of dark chocolate every night directly after dinner even when dieting. It signals the end of your meal & satisfies the sweet tooth. Cutting out high fat junk foods, white breads, watching your portions & getting some exercise will help you lose faster than giving up all chocolate.

Often, giving up caffeine is responsible for headaches when someone is changing their eating/drinking routine. Any chance it could be that? Has anything else changed, like your eyesight or sleeping patterns?
These are just some guesses, as I haven't heard of headaches caused by lack of chocolate.
Good luck with the diet!

It certainly could be if you are also abstaining from sugar in other things.
These will pass - i had them really badly when i started dieting as i cut white bread out of my diet but after a few days they subsided - try not to giove into the temptation if you can but if it all gets too much have a small piece of dark chocolate which is made of more than 70% cocoa as thet does not contain as much sugar and refined goods.
May well sort out your head and your cravings - good luck and keep dieting!!

Huh. Well if you ate that much to begin with, it is certainly possible. Don't forget though that chocolate is not necessarily a no-no. You could eat the darkest chocolate available and be quite satisfied with very little. My current favorite is made by Lindt and it has chili in it - wow! You don't really have to give it up entirely. Life is too short!

As chocolate does have properties similar to caffiene, it could very well be. It does have some caffiene so that could be the problem. You can drink Diet Coke...I swear by the stuff. Also, hydrate hydrate hydrate and good luck

It could be. But if your diet is SO strict that you can't have chocolate, then it could also be low blood sugar.
I really think we should be kinder to ourselves about these things. No one got fat from one piece of chocolate, or a reasonable meal.
