Transgendered. He was really nice - a surprise given his boldness - funny, and interesting. I did something I've never done before - I gave a stranger my phone number. I figured that it was sort of like a first date - we sat, drank coffee, and talked for about an hour. So when should I tell him - I don't want to scare him away but I want to be fair too.

I think you should let him know right away. If you keep it from him from too long, he may get angry. But just be prepared in case he doesn't want to date transgendered people. I'm not trying to be discouraging or put you down or anything, but you never know. But he should give you credit though for being honest. But hey, it may not bother him and you two could probably have a good relationship and you won't have to worry about that. I hope it works well for you. Good luck.

I think you should tell him on your next date. The longer you wait, the more of a problem it might pose. If he is open to that sort of thing he will appreciate your honesty and balls (because it certainly does take a brass pair to tell somebody something so difficult). If he is not open, this will end things before they get out of hand - the longer you wait the angrier he'll be if thats the case. Good luck!

I'd tell him by the 3rd date and/or before any hanky panky!
Dont be upset if he gets scared off though; you have to admit, its not an everyday occurrence that you pick up a transgender at the local coffee house

when? right away! come on! it's not fair for him. tell him as soon as possible before it's too late. if you keep going, someday both of you are gonna be hurt. Just tell him, he'll find out soon or later. it'd better be soon cause you guys arent very close right now.
tell him that you're not the kind of person he thinks you are. tell him that you're not "woman enough" (sorry). i mean, come on! he doesnt deserve this! you know i'm right.

You should tell him right away. Most men are emotionally immature and can not handle abnormal situations. In their efforts to remain manly, they resort to violence if a situation is out of their control. So, to avoid being attacked and beaten up, I would tell him immediately(if he calls...)

Tell him before you're in an intimate situation. Don't let this go to long before telling him. If he's not interested, you wouldn't want him to get emotionally invested...ya know?

TELL HIM THE NEXT TIME YOU TALK TO HIM.......otherwise the longer you wait the worse it could possibly turn out for you.
