How long did you guys know each other. That, for me, makes the most difference. If you'd only known each other for a little while before he moved, I would be tempted to move on. At that point it's difficult to distinguish between love and lust. But...if you'd been in love with him for a while you can always try the long distance thing. What did he say to you when he left?

If you're really in love, see if he is really interested and move to Florida. Look for a job there and get your own apartment. Go from there - if this is not an option, you're going to have to move on. . . sorry

i DONT THINK YOU SHOULD (sorry damn cap lock) anyway I dont think you should wait around but then again it depends on what kind of relationship you two had. Do what feels right.
