ok, so my boyfriend wants to get me and him a cell phone or something to text eachother with, since my parents only let us talk to eachother afterschool on the phone for 20 mins. And, most of the time, we just keep missing eachother when the otherone calls... so is there a cheap phone with like free texting, or something to help the situation?
he said he wants to buy it.. and we would only use it for eachother

get a phone thing that is nothing BUT texting it has its own keyboard too just like the computer and its free communication and it has 2 in a pack or u can just join Alltel cuz they have free texting and AIM.

I'm having a hard time understanding why YOU have to be the one to buy the phones??
But if you get Verizon then you have unlimited phone calls and texts with each other and any other who has Verizon...(but Verizon is a little expensive)--- If you get T-mobile then you have your fave- 5 plan or the t-mobile to t-Mobile plan which i believe is only $7/M and you get to talk to or text anyone who has t-mobile at no extra cost.... This will probably be the best plan for you guys.. Get the lowest plan available and pay the extra fee for T-mobile to T-mobile.. after all its only for the TWO OF YOU right???
I will still question him why he insists YOU get the phones

You can get the lowest minute cell phone plan and get unlimited text messaging ($10 or so/month).
Since you would only be using the minutes to talk to him, they would be free if he has the same company.
Can you Instant Message on the computer?

ya its called prepaid cellp0hones you can get them anywhere go with boost then you can chirp eachother wich cost less then texting too and its fun
