My, what persuasive and powerful argument. Let's make it our country's Motto: "America...not as bad as Saudi Arabia."

America is Not a Christian Nation. Read Treaty of Tripoli. If you wish to get downright technical about it, it was a "Pagan" Nation, what with all the "Indians" being here long before anyone else came along.
No, it didn't happen directly to me and I have never claimed it did. But it most certainly influences people today.... how many do you know would say that All Pagans dance naked under a full moon? No evidence of this before our modern times except what was written by Inquisitors during the Inquisition(s)... people today still believe what was written by the Inquisitors concerning Pagans.
No, I won't stop it. I am thinking about this very carefully. As for Non-Christians complaining about persecution, there are just as many, if not more, Christians complaining about the same thing. I don't know how many times I've seen Christians say it's persecution because prayer isn't in school.

lets face it , PLEASE! -there is not a single religion w/o a biased attitude! I know that many keep talking about the crusades or other wise! you are right! that was a long time! what bothers me about this is the fact that we all have come from a cultural or religious back round that has wronged some one else in this world! I don't persecute Germans because of Hitler! I don't hate Muslims because of bin laden , I don't hate Christians because of the crusades! ......... we are all so off center it almost seems to be unrepairable!
oh by the way- people in Saudi Arabia are looking for progress and change as well , so dont sit there and make them look bad so you can look better! remember you are trying to prevent that with your question!

The whole of any religion is to forgive and forget. Anger and payback is like a weight that is tied on a neck of a swimmer trying to swim to shore in a lake. If we say we have "religion" then we should and must love others. Condemning others for not being who we want them to be, keeps religious people from doing good for others. Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. Let Go and let God do his thing. He will bring them to the best they can be. In the time remaining for you,you will become all God wants you to be. Forgive others the way you want God to forgive you. So, persecution complexes take away the spirit of doing good! Let go and stay out of Harms way! HW

Wow, you need to get over yourself just a little. My brother worked in Saudi Arabia as a teacher for 3 years and he didn't have any problems. Tall, blond hair, blue eyes. Never persecuted. Of course he didn't give anyone any reason to give him a hard time. I'm pagan and I would have loved to have gone with him. So exactly what is your point to this question?

Personally, I don't hate a "Christian" nation. I love my country and everything it entails. It is NOT a Christian nation. It is a nation that is filled with people of different beliefs, colors, creeds, genders, and much much more.
What I hate is the propensity of Christians to believe they are the only ones who are right.
What I hate is Christians who force their beliefs down my throat.
What I hate is those who call themselves Christians who want to dominate this country by passing laws based on a book that NO ONE can prove is the truth.
What I hate is Christians who can't see how un-Christianlike their behavior truly is.

If people were truly Faithful and not just religious fanatics (I'm talkin about all religions here) then maybe things would be different in the world.
Tolerance and respect is a thing that the world needs but doesn't want to have.

How about you stop and think for once in your life? Non Christians are STILL persecuted in very real ways. I think YOU are the one that needs to do your research.

what exactly is your question? and your argument for moving to Saudi Arabia is weak because what makes the U.S so "special" is the fact that we are free to be non-Christian if we desire and do I ever.
