I am battling acne too and am visiting a dermatologist. Depending on your acne if it is the mild kind, you can try OTC products like oxy 10. But if you have severe acne, its better to visit a dermatologist and get it treated with antibiotics or topical creams which she will prescribe to you. I recommend asking about a product known as Retin-A which my dermatlogist says can treat acne, lighten dark spots and probably help acne scars.

Seek the professional help of a licensed esthetician (AKA skin therapist) in a spa or students in a school of spa. In my school we use 25% AHA peels for acne and perform skin analysis to try to determine the proper treatment products a client should use. If you have not tried anything, though, try benzoyl peroxide for spot treatments of pimples, a good cleanser, exfoliant and toner. Your family practice physician can also offer treatment topicals and antibiotics for your acne once you are examined and your grade of acne is determined. Or, seek a dermatologist's opinion. Sometimes estheticians and dermatologists work hand-in-hand.

i dont know how to get rid of acne scars, but i know how to get rid of acne.

your answer is oreganol oil.

it is made from oregano, a natural herb that grows wild in the mountains.

trust me, from my experience, it works faster than any face wash or proactive pro-v. if you put it on your face everynight, most of your pimples should be gone within a week!

i have been using it for like half a year now and i love it.
seriously, you should try it if you have acne.

If you have red blotchey scarring then this will fade over time. If you have 'pick mark' type scarring then there isn't too much you can do without more hardcore medical stuff. Hope this helps.
