It is probably safe to eat the popcorn. It would be silly to eat the box. If it tastes old, throw it away. Sometimes things get stale. They are safe to eat, but don't taste good. By the way, it is not necessary to buy microwave popping corn to prepare it in the microwave. Any brand of popcorn may be popped in a microwave by putting it into a paper bag, folding it shut at the top and popping it until the popping slows to about one pop every 30 seconds or so. It is actually cheaper to buy a jar or bag of popping corn and a pac of lunch bags then to but a three pack of most microwave popcorns.

The expiration date most of the time is on the bag itself. But if you just bought it in November that It is probably still good.

It should be safe-I work in a store that sells it.....has a shelf life of like 3 years-lol

Yeah its good. It just doesnt always pop as much but its good. Ive done this before.
