Simple. You see that you have self worth as a human being and you walk away from it. Flying solo is far better than trying to convince yourself that love is there, when in reality, it is not. No one can truly love another, unless they love themselves.

If you can't respect yourself, then it only follows that you don't respect others. If you can't love yourself, then how can you truley love anybody else? Unfortunatley, the person you are in love with needs to do some self discovering and learn to love themselves. Only then can a relatioship work. Otherwise, you will be in a very disfunctional and unsatisfying relationship.

If you're in a relationship with someone who doesn't r3espect you, then there is nothing you can do, and you shouldn't anyway. There are too many people in this world to make excuses for wasting time on people who don't care about themselves or you. Find someone who does.
