I was about 5 when I draped a net curtain over my head and pretended I was a bride!! Doesn't every girl dream about marriage as soon as they are old enough to know what it is? Of course, my dream groom has altered over the years from a fairy tale prince to Mark Owen from take that, to Josh Hartnett followed by my current boyfriend! Now unfortunatley, I know how much weddings cost making it more of a nightmare than a dream!

I'm going to be 22, nearly 23 when I get married, and for me, that's a perfect age. I want to be with my fiancé in our own space, I'll have my degree, I'll have started my job and we can put both our salaries together and get a house. Yes we'll be poor for a while I suppose because houses and living expenses are a lot of money (especially if like me you live in the UK-my mum and dad live in a 5 bedroom town house in the North of England, which is cheaper than the South and that is worth £250,000!).
You can dream about it whenever you like-all little girls do (and even some little boys!). I think about it a lot right now, but that's because it's in the not-too-distant future. One thing I would say though, don't let the preoccupation of marriage bear too much on your mind. It's WHO you're marrying and IF you marry, not when. The right person will come along and you'll know it, but enjoy life and enjoy meeting 'The One'.

25 to 30. After you have completed your education and have a nice job, then you should think of meeting the man of your dreams and your dream wedding, not before. Marry in haste, and repent in leisure...remember that saying when you think of getting married at 19 or 20 or 21....Way too young.

I always dreamed of my wedding since I was about 5 and went to my parents friends - I was in awe. I couldn't get over the dress on the bride, her bridesmaid the groomsmen the rice, the dancing, the cake. I will never forget it.
My own wedding went anything like I had in my dream we went to the island of St. Thomas (I never knew so many people pulled you and made you do this or that)..
Anyway - dream... but know when you meet mr. right things may not be according to plan and factor in his ideas.
The wedding is great, but life after is reality. Make sure you find the love of your life to keep the dream alive. :)
OH, and perhaps do something in your career that involves weddings. ;)

You mean dreaming about a wedding day - in which case, dream away.
But dreaming about marriage is different inless of course you harbour fantasies about ondering if you will have enough money to pay the mortgage, bickering about parents, mourning the loss ofa child, resenting the hours of work you and your partner have to put in to try to make a better life for yourselves, etc etc. I say this not to bring you down to to try to make you realise that marriage is about more than just a wedding day and a princess dress. I have learnt this the hard way with my first marriage and although nowin a very happy partnership it has taken my over a decade to learn the lesson, if I can pass on a little wisdom then that makes me feel a little better about the world.

Dreaming about getting married
-When you are with someone long enough to know you want to make a 100 percent commitment. I would say around 20 and up years old.
Or dreaming about getting all dressed up like a princess on your wedding day
-When your as young as eight years old. Knowing that you want to look like a princess and getting all dolled up is what makes you dream about it, not that your actually getting married

i think you can start dreaming about it at any age really, just so long as you don't become obsessed with finding the right guy and settling down. then you might rush into marriage just so you can have a dream wedding but you won't be prepared for the actual marriage bit.

I think all little girls dream about getting married but I'd say live a bit first and really get to know someone before settling down.

It really doesn't matter what age. You can dream anytime you want. I'm 18 and my older sister just got married and my other sister just got engaged, so with all the wedding planning around my house, I can't help but think about mine :)
