I've heard of interracial adoptions where white families have adopted a black baby. But has there ever been a black family that has adopted a white baby? I'm just curious (please don't leave any racist comments).

I always say better to ask than to assume. Yes, there have been black families who have adopted white children. Especially in the foster to adopt programs.

Im sure there has been. Adoption is about a family who can't produce their own children so whatever that family feels would make a great addition to their family would adopt based on thier needs and the childs not race. White familys are adopting chinese children too so I don't think race has anything to do with it except wanting a child.

I do not know any specific cases, but I am going to assume so. And I would adopt a baby regardless of the race, if I thought I could provide the child with a good life.

i don't think i have ever seen a black family adopt a white child. it doesn't happen too often. its not because the family doesn't want the kid, its because i guess the agency ussually puts the white kid with a white family.
i am sure there is a family out there who adopted a white child.
if i could afford it i would adopt a child of any race.

adopting is about making your life and the childs life happy, so of course i'd adopt a baby that isn't my race

I haven't known a black couple to adopt a white child, I don't think many of them would do that. Sad!

No I don't know of any black family adopting a white child. There are many more white families wanting to adopt white children, so there is no need of black families adopting white kids.

Michael Jackson adopts white boys for sleep overs all the time. However, since he bleached himself and cut his big nose off, he might not still be considered a black..
