Hi Mark
Well I have very definite thoughts on this subject and believe there is a better chance of having a boy or girl if you have intercourse at particular times of the month. I have four children 3 boys and 1 girl I had my boys first all were conceived just before ovulation between days 13 and on ovulation day, day 14 and my daughter was conceived on day 9 to 10 . The thoughts on this are that male sperm swim faster and reach the egg more quickly than the slower but longer living female sperm. So if sex occurs on ovulation day or just the day before the chances are it will be a boy as opposed to sex occurring earlier the male sperm die off leaving the female sperm to reach the egg which results in a girl being conceived. This is not carved in gold but if you are trying for a particular sex it is worth a go. Good luck with your quest bearing in mind I am talking about an average menstrual cycle of 28 days whereby ovulation day is day 14 it worked for me wishing you all the best.

No, no longer all women persons ovulate 14 days after their final era starts. I generally ovulate on the day 18. i might wager that the intercourse on might 14th grew to become into the magic day. Has she had an extremely sound yet? If carried out around 7 weeks they might tell with in a pair of days while she conceived. except you're doing in vitro then there's no thank you to pin element the right day that she ovulated.

no not at all gender completely depends on the male. Females have one X in each egg, Males have either a X or Y in each sperm so what ever chromosome getss to the egg first determines the sex.

The window that there is to conceive each month is very limited - around 24 hours.
That 24 slot is not divided into 'male' and 'female' times. And even if it were, it would be impossible to time it!

Hi Marc
I don't think so, some people say that you should stand on your head, i think they should go and stand on their heads.
Just have fun doing it and leave the rest to Providence.

I'm afraid not, it's all old wives tales. It's all down to you and your boys and girls sperms and depends which one is the fastest!
