I'm talking about colds, headaches, flu, etc etc. I hear that the body will rely only on medicines to help fight the symptoms. I personally drink green tea and fruit juices. Recently, I had to take Bayer for a nasty headache because I had to drive 18 hours.

Sure, you only get tough by toughing it out. Ha!
The no medicine for minor illnesses is a macho myth and simply ignores centuries of folk and medical practice. Some people who say this simply ignore that when they chew on willow they are getting asperin, etc.
Green tea and fruit juices are medicines if you take them to supplement what you are not getting enough of.
Go and get exercise and get stronger.

Think about your great-great grandparents. Their average lifespan was about 55-65. They didn't treat every little problem.

Today, we treat most everything we can and our life span has increased to about 75-85.
