I am a student at the Baptist Theological Seminary from Bucharest(Romania), and I really need some "tools" for my personal study, and for my future work in God's field...
The problem is that I don't have enough money to buy such things, but I really need them. The good books, comentaries are not even translated in romanian. The church in Romania needs food, spiritual food for the soul. This food comes from God, and personal study. I am praying,..and, I hope God will find solutions.God bless you!!!

I wouldn't bother with getting commentaries Seriously the commentaries are to large, to bulky, and to expensive to bother with.
As an alternative to commentaries I would recommend some of the Bible Study soft ware A tremendous amount of Books like commentaries, concordances and different Bible versions are already reduced to a CD disc.and they are available at low retail on line, or sites like Gutenberg Press for free. A cheap used computer can give you all the resources of a library at home or in your dorm. You could also rent out computer time to other students to help defray the cost of the computer or to donate to a church program. The computer would also be a usable investment in other Christian service or humanitarian projects. Using CD information to help build "Square Foot Garden" projects to provide extremely low cost high quality food for any family.

The catholic church thrives in europe...try asking any of the seminaries to share...most of the info is the same, especially pre- rebellion timeframe of the church. Also you would be able to get the writings of the early church fathers, which is excellent reading. Contact a man named Scott Haun, he is a theological expert and may have contacts in your part of the world. Good luck.
