I have used peppermint oil. You can purchase one that is meant to go on your skin at Body Shoppe. What I do is rub it between my pointer fingers, close my eyes and smell. I mean like take a deep breathe. I then massage it onto my temples clockwise and just close my eyes and relax for a few minutes.

From what I've learned from migraine sufferers over the years is that it is not what you take in but what you should leave out (of your diet).
It is important to journal what you put into your body every day and try to figure out what is triggering your migraines.
Best wishes and have a great day!

Watch what you eat...I used to suffer from migraines and then I realized that chocolate, caffiene and dairy would almost always trigger a migraine....as for a natural way to get rid of them...meditation worked for me (if it was in the early stages) and if it was really bad...acupuncture...

The only thing that works for me is...I know this sounds crazy...is to have a cup of coffee and then go to sleep.

Start taking B6 vitamins daily. I get EXCRUCIATING headaches, and taking a B6 every morning with my multi-vitamin has really helped.
