What language does british people learn more oftenly as a second language?

Depends on where in Britain you mean.

In England it will be either French or Spanish.
In Scotland it will probably Gaelic, or the same as England.
In Wales most learn Welsh as either a first or a second language by law, then followed by French and Spanish.

Was always French. But more schools are teaching German and Spanish now.
I think that amongst the British people who have a second language, then French is still the most popular.

French and German was the most common taught in schools when i was there but i think Spanish is becoming popular now too.

The English don't need a second language, everyone should learn how to speak English.
We have been teaching you all for long enough!
