I dont really care about prom and if i dont i dont think id regret it but all my friends say i would but i wouldnt
and this summer im going away so its gonna cost me alot of money..cuz the plane ticket is alott!!seriously! so i need all the money i need so i can save instead of spending my money on prom
so what should i do?

You can do both!
Cut costs by borrowing someone's dress and shoes for prom. Do your own hair or have a friend or relative do it for you. Do your own nails. Going out that night to eat should cost no more than $20.00 if you don't have a date. Or you can just let your date pay for your food. It's a memory that you will forever cherish...Plus you don't have to buy pictures while you are there, you can bring your own camera and take lots of pics! You need to get a part time job if you don't have one right now and help save up money for your trip.
I missed out on a great prom -I still went but i rushed everything and went with a guy that i shouldn't have. I would have rather have gone by my self. I didn't go on my senior trip and now it's 11 years later and we had our 10 year reunion and the pictures sadden me. i really wasn't invited to go but I really couldn't afford to go anyway b/c my finacial situations. I did have a job but I was helping my family out...

go to the prom. it happens only once in your life. you will pick up stories to tell your child when you have already one. its worth it. goooooooooo girl.
