Ive read and also been told by everyone I have spoken to that the girl will find me so to not go looking for a girl.
Is this information also given to women? because if it is im screwed!

The advice actually is don't look for the one, you will meet her, when you least expect it. In other words, don't try so hard to make something happen, just go with the flow. That doesn't mean, stay cooped up in the house all day, go out, have fun, and if you meet the right one, your heart will let you know who she is. Good luck!

It just means dont look at everyone as a potential partner. If you concentrate on being friends with the girls you meet, you may find that "spark" where you didnt expect to find it.
Girls appreciate getting to know guys first, and they tend to fall for guys they "know" rather than strangers.

Yeah, just take life at it comes. What it means is not to go to like a bar every night and try to find a life partner. It's saying that fate will take over, you might meet her at a grocery store, a concert, on a plane etc.

Depends on your social life, if you sit back and hope they come to you then you need to hang around places where people will will get the chance to know you. Example would be going to the same pub instead of going on a pub crawl, or going to the same nightclub. If your the type to approach a girl then its the other way around.

That ones just like an old wife's tale. You got to go to the right places, present yourself in the right way and most importantly and the one i find the hardest is talking to them.lol.
People often say this as sometimes you can try too hard and woman can sense desperation! So don't be desperate be nice! ;)

You've been told right! Just relax and go on with your life. If and when it is meant to be it will find you. After all, even the bible says that their is a man for every woman and a woman for every man. It is called fate. And if it is meant to be, it will happen for you. So, relax!

100% true!!!!!!!!!!!! You should never go out looking for someone you'll spend your whole life with. I believe this with my whole heart. It's how I found my husband.......it will come to you when you're ready and also when you least expect it....for example: some night you really aren't in the mood to go out, but a mate begs you to, and you go out and end up finding someone great. Believe me!

lol!!!!! well you can live in hope I guess! I dont think these people meant that you literally turn off completely - just not to be so anxious about meeting this girl!!
It is true though - love apparently has a habit of finding you when you least expect it!!!

Yes good question ...and unfortunately I believe the answer is yes..so I can fully understand your worry...
Maybe people are gently trying to suggest you relax a little..be a little more laid back. Being too pushy can put people off...
Fate can and does play its part. You cant force things along.

That's like telling someone who wants a job not to apply for any because the job will find you. NOT TRUE. This "don't look and she will find you" is a Hollywood inspired lie. If you seek, you shall find. If you sit on your butt, you'll rot alone. That is truth.
