i normally drink about 60 oz of water daily. but over the weekend i didnt drink hardly any. and had one night of heavy drinking. when i started the weekend i was 121lb. now im 125lb. is it bc my body tried to keep all the water i got thru foods, etc that i gained this additional weight? i didnt eat much more than usual, but i did skip a day of exercise.

Not necessarily weight gain, but not getting enough water does in fact often leads to more water retention. The body is trying to hold on to as much water as it can until it is necessarily hydrated. Return to your normal healty drinking habits and you should be fine. The retained water should be flushed from your system.

Also, avoid salty foods as well. They tend to increase this retention!

you need to keep your body hydrated especially during the suumer time and during the sport session or any other activity that makes you to make a big fizical effort
You may get some weight because of the water, only if you have some glandular problems.
