If you're here strictly for competition, I'd argue that's the wrong motivation.
Besides, level or "top contributor" are only two measures. Tatt_bratt, for example, has one of the higher Right Answer hit ratios (50%) I've seen and higher than those above her on the list. I think she's 2x than Blair's, for example. There's something to be said for a high signal:noise ratio.

Well you have the top three "answerers" responding here and I am number four and I am likely NEVER to catch up to them and I already spend wayyyy too much time here, so your answer is yes, they will likely to always be ahead of you!!
I don't feel this is a competition....I think if we are all working hard at providing the best possible answers, it is good for the industry and that is what most of us are here for.

OK ......I'm going to squeal on Somebody. She gets PAID to answer questions here and to rate tattoos on ratemyink.....That's plus/minus 40 hours a week GETTING PAID to do this. I have to sneak on during the day and risk losing my job just to answer a quick few questions..... (and get my answers fix) ..... She does this FOR A LIVING ..... So no .... you will never catch Somebody....not in this life time....
Spreading dissension where ever I go......
Edit....Etrigone is correct by the way .......I would KILL to get a 40% rating.....
