When you make your heart rate go over a certain number, your body starts burning sugar and not fat. You need to take it slower.

Go to your doctor or emergency room for an EKG. Due to the fact that you blacked out and got dizzy, I would suggest you speak to an 'Electorphysiologist' to begin to determine whether you may have a heart 'arrhythmia'. Not trying to scare you, but if this is the case, it needs to be dealt with early on. Len Bias and numerous others have died due to undetected arrythmias. Your life could be at stake, be on the safe side and get checked as soon as possible. There are medical ways and procedural ways to deal with most arrhythmias.

I'm guessing you over did it a bit. It sounds like you almost fainted, which can be due to low blood pressure at the time. When was the last time you had a check up with your doctor - it's worth checking your heart and blood pressure. It might be nothing, I've had similar experiences myself, when I've felt dizzy and my vision has gone black and white.

You did the best thing by stopping imediately and resting, if your body is telling you it's not happy it's best to listen to it.

Did you eat before working out?
Did you drink any water during your workout?
Are you otherwise healthy?
Did you overdo it?
I've gotten dizzy on the treadmill in the past but you did the right thing. If it's a one-off, I wouldn't worry about it but if you think it could be something serious, call your GP.
