Maybe he really loves you
Maybe he is feeling insecure
Maybe he realizes that he lost a good thing
Could be a zillion different reasons...

It is hard to answer this without knowing the circumstances. The best thing to do is to keep in mind the reasons why you broke up, and if you forsee them happening again. If not, then go for it, if he is sincere in wanting to make it work the rest is up to you. Also, another thing to think about is the type of person he is. Would he do something just out of spite? Is he the type of person to think of revenge? What I mean by this is he might just want to go out with you, and then end it really quick, to lead you on to thinking he actually cares. This can be quite hurtful. Sometimes near the end of a relationship, the couple can say things to eachother that can be very hurtful, that take time to heal over. Have you given it enough time? the best thing to do is evaluate all the reasons and motives as to why he might be doing this all of a sudden, and then finally ask yourself if you're ready to try it again with him. Hope that helps.

The only way you are gonna get your question answered is by talking to him. You two migh want to get together and really talk about the issues that resulted in the reasons for the break up. Take it slow to really give each other the chance to bring out feelings and a chance to clear the air. It sounds as if he has been missing you and has been rethinking on wanting a relationship with you.

He's an x for a reason! Mine does that even today and he's married. Nothing's wrong with having someone on your mind and wondering what they are up to. My suggestion to you is to just remain friends and catch up but do not get back with him. As time goes by, you will know if he's right for you or not to start dating again.

He's probably realizing what a good catch you are and he wants you back. If you are considering getting back together with him, think about taking things slow at first to make sure new issues don't arise, or old issues make a comeback. Good luck.

Sounds like he still cares about you, and was trying to resolve some personal issues. If you still care about him, then you might want to give him a second chance. Good luck!

Maybe he realized that he missed you and that he was happier with you in his life. I would say if you really like him maybe give it another chance and see how things work out now. I would only do it once more though, if it doesn't work the second time just remain friends or go your seperate ways.

Jen,
It sounds like he honestly wants to get back together with you. If you're up for it, I'd meet with him.
Good Luck.

He's looked around and can't get a date any where else. They always think the grass is greener. I'd tell him NO.
