He initiated it and because I felt comfortable with him I let it happen. I dont regret it but I feel like other people think I went too far. We are both 20 btw.

Don't listen to what others say. Just listen to your heart. If you felt at ease and relaxed, then, why not?
There are no rules.
Enjoy it!

Making out isn't usually the best idea on the first date BUT It doesn't mean it will prevent a relationship from happening. I honestly believe that if he was going to call he will. If he wants to try a relationship he still will.

I think we often blame outselves for 'going too far' or not far enough or anything else when a lot of times they have already made up their minds. (we just assume its our fault.)

Next time maybe you could have a date in a very public place and that will lessen the chances of much more making out. (if you want to prevent it.)

If he doesn't call then just assume its him and not you.

Good luck either way.

Even making out poses problems of its own...Mouth Herpes for one.

Also in my own experience making out is designed to lead elsewhere. At least that what I tell my wife!!

But seriously, guard your heart and if you believe you can maintain your purity standards while making out with this guy then Its not for me to judge. Just stay cautious.

A relationship can come from this. Listen to your own instincts, not the words of others.

yea there is nothing wrong with that, just leave most dated asheavy petting and makeout sessions. will always leave you both wanting more,, however, my wife was the type who said, "ok we are going to have sex right? because if not, i have to go" on our first date.

no way! It just shows that you are both on the same wavelength. Just cause you kiss you someone doesn't make you easy.
