I don't know which route Bosporus is taking but Canberra to Cairns is about 3000km. It is just under 300km from Canberra to Sydney; 1000km from Sydney to Brisbane and 1750km from Brisbane to Cairns. That is going by road on the best roads. You might be able to slice a hundred kilometres off that if you take some back roads.

too long probably take you 3-4 days drive, but come up the coast (even though Bruce Highway) is shocking - but the scenery is nice.....
