I have found from experience that products meant for babies to be the best...There are many on the market but I use Johnson's...naturally made for sensitive skin....The wash is excellent and you can use it from head to toe and follow it with the Baby lotion of your choice ...You will see excellent results soon...I have used this combination for over 6 years....

I hear this a lot. And, it's mainly because of the products that we use. Most lotions on the market contain MINERAL OIL! The molecular structure is too large to penetrate the pores of your skin, sitting on the top layer like saran wrap. This causes dirt and debris to collect on your skin, causing irritation and dryness. Products that contain mineral oil get wiped off over time and have little to no benefit. This is why you find yourself reapplying your lotion three times a day or that your makeup looks dry and flaky. You need a pure water based product to help penetrate the dermis and deeply condition and hydrate your skin with ingredients that are gentle enough for your sensitive skin. Look for pure (natural and botanical) moisturizers that contain Aloe (a pure moisturizer), Liposomes, phospholipids, alpha hydroxy acids, and/or antioxidant vitamins A, C and E. You want to stay away from products that contain alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, mineral oil, etc. which strip your skins acid mantel (its protective layer) and causes irritation and dryness. Good luck. Arbonne has a great day creme (with SPF 8) and intelligence moisturizer that are pure, safe, beneficial, and might be very beneficial to you. Their products are formulated in Switzerland, unlike any others on the market, and do not contain the ingredients above that are known to cause irritation and dryness. If you're open to trying a free sample, I'll be happy to send you one.

I like the ones from health shops or more natural ones that don't contain harsh ingredients. Living Nature,Weleda, Dr Haushka (a little expensive but very nice), are good amongst others.
But I use one called Miracle Lotion which is made with 14 herbs & 7 natural oils & smells good enough to eat! You an only buy it manly online or at very selected health shops.

I use Vaseline Intensive Care's Light Moisturising lotion and it really helps dry skin. It makes your skin feel more hydrated and soft.
