I know its embarrasing, esp when you are in your 30s but there are things you can do. Firstly, its known that spots around the chin are caused by hormonal imbalances. So maybe go to the doctor to have that checked out.

Now you have started getting spots you need to change a few things:

Eat loads of fresh fruit and veg
Drink loads and loads of water
Cut out sugar and fatty foods
Make sure your face is kept clean
Tie your hairback away from your face
Don't touch your face
Use Germolene on the spots you have now
Fresh lemon juice is also good (might dry your skin though)
Take Zinc, Vitamin B, E and Oil of Evening Primrose

Best of luck.

From your description they sound like acne or pimples. As been mentioned, you should check your diet to see if there's anything that you are eating that could be contributing to this 'eruption'. Then ask yourself if there has been any stress that's getting to you. That can sometimes cause acne. You are still not at the age to have a 'change of life' which may cause hormonal upset.
But there are still things you can do. Wash the spots with clean water and plain soap. Don't use face flannel as they can harbour bacteria. Dry gently and rub in gently some TCP cream (UK?? only). No need to buy expensive acne creams. Don't squeeze them. I would avoid covering them with foundation because they tend to clog up the pores. If you have to, use non-greasy and light ones, but get it off at the first opportunity. Try not to be too alarmed by it. It will pass, and we all get it some time or the other.

HI

I heard pimple around the chin area are hormonal, I get them there when I'm due on. Keep them clean with some diluted witch hazel, but if they are persistant then maybe ask a chemist for help, or go to doctor.

If you just got the coil , it could be the cause of it too. Happened a friend of mine, they go after a few months.

You have to stop eating saturated fats as sopts are probably telling you that it cannot digest them. I don't know all the foods but a few are all animal fats esp. red meat, dairy.

Hmmm... you may want to ask your regular doctor or a dermatologist. It may be a change in hormones.

Are they pimples or just blotches?

If they are pimples you may consider any changes in your diet recently or maybe just consider cleaning you phone or anything else that touches your face.

But if they are blotches that are painful, you should really consider asking your doctor. It could be something serious.

this may sound silly but its true ..do you have your hand on your chin alot ?? oil from your hand goes on your chin .hence the spots.... if this may be the cause try to stop resting your chin on your hand..other wise it may be best to go see a
dermatologist to see what is causing them

It could be a hormone thing - go and speak to your doctor about it.
