to get sad over a guy ? I asked this guy to prom he made me wait and finally said he is going with this other girl. I know he kinda likes me but not as much what should i do ? just forget about him and ignore him in class (as in me not talking to him at all) or just keep it kool and still talk to him?

It is human to be sad over disappointments. But set a certain amount of time aside to be sad and then move on. So, how to act at this point... You want him to know you are a cool girl and not needy, desperate and sad. Be friendly to him, but don't go out of your way. If you pass in the halls be pleasant, but, let him come to you. This way you can see how much he likes you. If he goes out of his way to make an effort then he's interested. If he doesn't, then you'll know to move on. If he doesn't show any signs of being interested then hold your head up high and be confident. Let him see what a happy, positive person you are and then he will wish he had gone with you!
You don't want to go with someone who isn't crazy about you anyway! You deserve better than that! So go find the guy that you deserve!

Get MAD! He kinda used you, you know.
He probably waited until the other girl said yes for the prom.
You should talk to him. Tell him that he treated you in a horrible way. Make him understand that it doesn't matter if he is going with the other girl. He should have been frank. Finally, tell him that since he lied you can't even be friends.
Leave him with this phrase: TOO BAD! Now you will NEVER know if we could hit it off!!!!!

Still talk to the guy at least he told you he was going with someone else!! You never know what he would have said if you asked him sooner! If he likes you a little then why wouldn't you want to stay friends with him in hopes that maybe one day he would like you alot?

Still talk to him. I know it sounds dumb, but sooner than you think, another guy, who is more attractive and a whole lot nicer than this guy will be interested in you, and the guy that treated you like crap will want to be in your face all of the time, and realize that he had his chance and he blew it. Just because he acted like a jerk, doesn't mean you have to act like one. Remember, kill'em with kindness!! This is a true statement.

If you are still into him, just stay nice to him, he may come to you and then again, you ma outgrow him. At te very least , don't act like you are desparate.
