I took my g/f...now wife...to Frankenmuth. (A very nice area in Michigan)

1. I let her go shopping all day without any compliants.

2. I took her out to a very nice dinner at Bavarian Inn and let her order anything off the menu. She loved it.

(At this time, it started snowing)

3. I took her on a horse drawn carriage ride through the city. I kneeled down in the middle of the carriage...on 1 knee...and asked her. (Christmas music playing, the lights hitting the snow)

4. Took her to a laser show in the city where we had a snowball fight.

BEST NIGHT EVER.

Well my finacee now took me and my 3 kids who are not his to the mountains and we were at an overlook and the view was amazing and the next thing I know my 2 boys 11 and 6 and my daughter 3 were standing behind me and when I turned around my fiancee got on one knee and then kids said mommy will you marry andy and he pulled out the ring. It was so special cause he included the kids. I will always treasure that day. He made it very romantic but at the same time it made me feel like we were really a family. My kids tell everybody the story.

Was done in Philadelphia, the day after my birthday.
We walked down South St. (major place for kids to hang out). Got to the riverside. Light showers. Proposed by placing the ring on the wrong finger but was qucikly corrected.

We had a nice dinner at home and then went into the Family Room to start a fire and drink some wine. Cory remembered that he had bought a pumpkin for us to carve. He had left it in the car. He brought the pumpkin in and I began to cut the top piece out. When I pulled off the top piece to clean out the inside, I noticed there weren't any seeds inside. I was sitting on the floor and working on the coffee table, so I leaned over and looked all the way inside the pumpkin, and saw there was a ring box. I was so surprised!! I pulled out the ring box, and Cory took the box from me, opened it up, got down on one knee and asked if I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I was sobbing by this time, and of course I said, "Yes!!"

He spent the evening before picking out the 'perfect' pumpkin, and he cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin and scooped out the seeds. He set the ring box on the piece he had cut out of the bottom, and placed the piece back in place, and used toothpicks to secure.

I can't wait to tell our children how he proposed!!

It was my birthday celebration. It was 3 days before my birthday, but we both worked on my actual birthday so we spent the Saturday before as my birthday.

First, he took me to an amusment park I use to go to when I was a kid. Then we went back to the apartment & got changed for dinner. He ordered take out at my favorite resturant & we went to a park, where he set up a picnic, with a table cloth & even matching napkins. He went back to the car & came back with roses & a cake. We ate, felt silly, had cake. He cleaned up when we were done & we went for a walk. On a trail he stopped & pulled out a small CD player that had our song in it & we danced. About half-way through the song he said, "I hurt my knee..." then got down on one knee & proposed. :)

My situation for proposal was set up early in the week I proposed and even months earlier. I had told my wife that I was waiting til at least Semptember before I proposed because we had met only that January. We planned to go out to dinner on friday to a nice place for dinner to celebrate our 6 month anniversary.

Well earlier in the week I intentionally locked my house door and did not answer the phone or the door when she stopped by. She was PISSED but my plan worked. I offered to give her a key to the house. So on friday night as we were leaving from dinner I said " hey here is that key I said I give ya." I secretly had dummy key on me and pretended to give her the key and "accidentally" dropped the key. In the mean time I had the ring in the palm of my hand. I bent down on one knee to pick up the key. I opened my hand and asked " will you marry me". "YES YES YES" was the reply

The funniest part was their was a pair of couples coming into the resturant and one the guy says "people still get down on one knee? WTF". His wife slugged him! ROFL we laughed so hard and still laugh when recall that evening and how hilarious it was to see that couple.

We had been together 13 months. We celebrated each month like an anniversary.
We watched Kate and Leopold because it just came out and we were getting ready to go to our Church's single group Bible study.

He asked me to dance with him to "Everything I do I do it for you" by Bryan Adams-my favorite song

When it got to the instrumental, he sat me in the chair and said he wanted to read me a poem. a long time before that he had told me that he had found this writing he was going to read to his future wife to ask her to marry him, but he was always doing things like this, that it seemed like another poem he had written and read to me.

Anyway he got on his knees, which was normal as well because he always wanted to look me in the face.
It was such a beautiful moment and then he read the last two lines:
I'll give you my heart, my soul, my life
If you will accept them and be my wife

At the point he said wife he pulled out the ring. I just gasped. I hadn't noticed but right at the end he pulled up one of his knees so he could be on one knee. I was crying and said yes.
His hands were shaking as he put the ring on. He had said he was so nervous because he wanted it to be perfect and it was.

It was all such a suprise because we had talked about getting married several years down the road after he fininshed college. It couldn't have been more perfect.

We went to see our favourite band play as my Valentine's Day suprise for him, and they played our song-it was a wonderful gig .I thought he'd propose then but he didn't! He ended up proposing that evening at my house in the very same room I met him! I said 'maybe', when he asked me to marry him, but then quickly changed it to a 'yes' when I saw the look of horror on his face!

we were on vacation in hawaii visiting some friends who loved there. we decided to go camping on the beach. after we ate dinner we went on a walk on the beach in the moonlight. (very romantic) we were just talking about general things, then i made a comment about how it was cool that then moon light sparkles on the water, and then he said well lets see how this sparkles in the moonlight, and pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. he didnt get down on one knee because it was dark and he didnt want to kneel on any sand crabs (heheheh they are every where) but that was fine with me. it was very romantic and the best night ever!! then we went back to the camp site and froze our butts off all night long, because our friends said oh its hawaii, you wont need blankets, so we had nothing for covers except for our clothes. and it was january. (next time im definitly bringing blankets!! lol!!) it was still very romantic and i could not have asked for a better proposal.

it did almost get ruined at the san francisco airport because the secutiy was going through our carry ons and they almost pulled out the ring box from my husbands backpack, but my husband gave the guy a look, and he was cool enough to understand and not ruin it, and i got to have my hawaiian engagement.
