Very constructive H... Moron!
Firstly, you are letting no one down, your partner loves you and depression is a part of who you are. Unfortunatly there is no quick and easy answer to depression, I suffer bouts of deppression when the whole world seems on top of you, your energy and enthusiasim is zilch, so I sympathis with how you feel. You should not feel guilty, although again I know where you are coming from. Do a web search there is a government agancy that can help you with your debt situation, I know you probably dont want to deal with it, given the way you feel at the moment, but please give them a call or send them a mail, and trust me small step but you will feel better, a little anyway. UK is crap at helping people like us, unless you get yourself a bun in the oven or are an immigrant, you get no help from our so called government. What helps me is finding little things and doing them. When I am down, I try to keep busy, go to the gym and do little things that may be to other people seem stupid, but to you make a big difference. Self harm is not the way to cope, but know you already know that! I used to drink loads, same thing really, trying to find a way to cope! If you ever need to chat with someone you can e-mail me, like I say I understand how you feel, having been there! and unless you suffer with this it is hard to understand, thats why idiots like that pratt (H) above really annoy me! Getting back to work even though you dont feel like it, is a wise move, the more you avoid people and going out the harder it is to deal with later on, the deeper the depression gets. You are not alone in how you feel and you also are not wrong becasue of way you feel.
Take care and I Hope some of this helps in some way.
Good Luck

Yes,there is help out there, call National Debtline Freefone 0808 808 4000...The other thing you can do is ditch the pills..Making you feel the way you do is their job..Prozac and the like are designed to make you feel numb and not care about anything but the fact you do care proves you don't need them..It may be hard for a few days but if you have a caring partner, you'll make it..x

Try to take it 1 day at a time, if that is too hard, just take 1 hour at a time, then you can take the next hour. Take baby steps, one day at a time, you can do it. Just keep telling yourself, you can do it. Did you see you Doctor when he gave you Prozac, you need to have councelling from someone "now". Even if it's the Doctor. Ask if he can recommend any books or look into the book shop. Try to stop worrying about the money, I have bad trouble with money too. Any what can they do about it, they can't get money about a stone. Just try to pay a little bit at a time if you can, as long as you do that they can't take you to court, or maybe if they do, you won't be in trouble as long as you are trying. Maybe you can go to court to go bankrupt, and then you won't have to pay back the money.

Try to look at the good things, you have a good partner and you have your health. Remember tough times never last but tough people do. You are going through a rough patch but it will pass. Don't be too hard on yourself.
