I've been dating for a long time and I'm losing hope! It seems that the men i don't want, want me and the one I do want, is MIA. I just need to know if anyone has a success story. If there is anyone out there that actually got the one they were head over heels for after pursuing them or if everyone is just settling!

Don't know if this will help but here's my story.....like you, I was in the same boat. I dated a lot of really great guys but i still didn't find any of them really that exciting. Finally when I was 23 I went to a pool tournament at a local bar with my friend where I saw my now fiance sitting on a bar stool lol, sounds bad I know. So after 2 years of being afraid to talk to him at 25 I made my move. We were boyfriend/girlfriend for 3 years and went through A LOT of bullshit but we've stuck with eachother and grown together. Moral of the story, we are getting married this July and we both couldn't be happier and more in love. In my opinion it's better to wait and find someone you really love (even if they dont love you at the time, stick together for a while and it might change). I'd rather wait for Mr. Right then settle for someone I'm really not into.

When I was 19 years old I saw my wife for the first time... and I felt for her head over heels. It really was love at first site!
We started talking and the rest is history as they say...
I'm almost 40 now and we are still together happily in love... so yes, it does happen!
