dont perm....i had a perm years ago, and my hair broke off near my scalp in a few small spots. you can make your hair thinner with all the breakage

HI

Perms are not in fashion at the moment so if you want to look stylish dont get a perm.

I think by the sound of it your hair just needs a bit of vavavoom!

When you dry your hair dry it with a hairdryer with your head tip over in between your knees with your hair hanging down- drying in the opposite direction to the way you want your hair to hang adds body and this is the easiest way to do this!

Spray on some volumising spray to the roots before you dry as well this will help - you only need a small amount.

You could try having layers/bangs cut into your hair as this gives the hair move body too and is a good way to jazz up fine hair.

You will look great.

I would not do a perm. All that is going to do is damage your hair. Maybe a really good haircut with some layers will put some bounce back in your hair. Use shampoo and conditioner specifically to add body. Also, try some body enhancing hair products.

I would think a perm would help with body and volume however it may be hard for your hair to except the perm because it is so thin, i suggest you visit your stylist and ask what they think, perms are in style..

Go to this site, see if anyone in your area does this hair cut. I have seen it on people and it is awesome. The lady who designed the sheers/scissors lives in the same town as I do, and the school is here too. It cuts waves/curls into your hair. I know is sounds strange, but check it out. Sounds like it would work perfect for you, then you do not have to worry about chemical damage.

i would talk to your hair stylist ( asuming you have one you see on a regular basis) i have very very thick hair and have always wanted one my hair stylist who does amazing stuff to my hair convinced me that a perm would not be the best option for me she said they never come out like the stars do. so she did random curls on my head mok perm. have you tried any of the voumlizing shampoos. herbal essance makes one and i think loreal makes one as well. i use both brands for color treated hair and they keep the color looking so vibrant

I have thin hair also and i did perm mine. and the way you want your curls is up to you. its still in style, i know tons of people (that arent old ladies) that perm their hair. it deffinately helped with my volume. its really up to you though.

A lot of girls wants to have SUPER thinning hair so enjoy your hair...Perms are not longer in fashion and they destroy your hair.

NO. not to perm. i have straight hair but its not thinning, a perm would really make it thin. it would all fall out. don't do it. go to a salon or dermatologist.
