either a virus or someone is going into your mail and cleaning it out.... change your passwords, do a check for virus/spy ware... etc

If you have Vista and this is happening, I would contact Microsoft. Their new "OneCare" support has some glitches, which includes deleting the all the e-mails if a small virus or trojan are found.

You may have a virus. Call your Internet provider, and speak with a technician to find out for sure.
