First of all you should'nt have agreed to the proposal just because your best friend says so. She should I understand that you don't like him instead of forcing you to do things you don't want to. Since she should have known if you hated him then she should have known it wouldn't work out between yal two.

Don't let your friend(or any other friends) influence you.. Go with your feelings, tell them that you don't like him..
Or maybe give a chance to be with you for at least a day and try to get to know each other.. Maybe there's something within him that you haven't known yet..
But if you really don't like him, then go follow your heart..
By the time that you made your decision, please e-mail me what will happen.. Just want to know the results..

First off, you should never, EVER let anyone talk you into getting married.
The choice to make such an important commitment, to spend the rest of your life with someone and, someday, raise of family with someone is your choice to make, and no one else's.
If you don' love the man, then DO NOT marry him.
You have to worry about you.
You have to look out for yourself, and think about what you want.
You obviously don't want to marry him, so don't.
And personally, I think that a "best friend" should be a little bit more considerate of your feelings that to guilt-trip you into marrying his brother.
That's pretty lame, dude.

That's ridiculous & sound starnge for the way of acceptance.....when you hate from the start...there's no meaning in accepting...may be you call the best friend is not that best........when she knows your feelings & still proposed......that's sad & bad....any way always the choice is open for you and answer is just end up.........all the best.

well i would suggest you tell the guy that you are not interested him and would like him better if he also becomes your friend but no more.just tell him what his sister told you to do and tell him that feeling for any such important person
should come from your heart and not on someone's elses words,because if anything as such happens then you will always depend on others sayings and not be able to realise the natural feelings of your heart......

just be honest with him and dump him OR you can try acting really boring for him and not listen to him then he'll be bored of you in notime, and then you guys can break up.
you should do it fast btw, the more time you take the more serious you relationship will get and also he might like you more, so better sorting things out really fast!! gudluck =)
