Or is it some huge agreement-orgy? Have you ever went to church and disagreed with something a pastor said on stage? Or because you save the same belief, you're forced to be in agreement with everyone who shares your religion?

If not, can you give me one example?

Christians do not agree on everything. We have what I like to call purple socks issues. It's the gray areas that the Bible isn't specific on. For example, baptists believe in eternal security. Once saved always saved, even if you turn your back on God. However, I am wesleyan and we believe that you can turn your back on God and lose your salvation. And then there are the issues like smoking, drinking, dancing, etc. which some, even in my church, think are ok and others do not. We are all Christians, but do not all agree on certain issues. Does God still loves us all the same? Yes, he does.

p.s. I have disagreed with something my pastor has said before, but it wasn't about a major issue. If I disagreed with something that much I would probably change churches

Christians are like other people except we have been forgiven by God. We are all in harmony that the Bible is correct but there the difference begins and the lack of unity happens because we all translate the scripture into our lives. We work at attaining a better life for ourselves but we disagree on the proper form of baptism.but for the most part we hold that Jesus is Lord and we follow him as best we can based on what we learn from the Bible and the church.

Wow! Sounds like an actual real question being raised. Impressive.

No, we dont have to agree on everything. That is why there are different denominations, because of dissagreements. The fundamentals are the same that we can call each other Christians, but there are many lifestyle issues that we will dissagree on. Some drink alcohol, some dont; some cuss, others dont; some steal, cheat, lie, abortion, etc. All of the hot botton issues, you will always get dissagreement on.

Many change thier mind on topics only when it happens to them, or they dont want to give up thier lifestyle. But the basis remains the same.

EXAMPLE:
I have not agreed with someone telling you hoe to vote.

Within the actual churches, I don't think there is much disagreement. The leaders leave little room for questioning. Between denominations, there is a TON of disagreements. Some Christians still can't decide whether to call Catholics and Mormons Christians or not.

I am a Baptist and I know a Baptist preacher that I have some disagreements with. I was married before and got married for my 3rd time to the same man I have been with now for 15 years. My husband and I got saved during this marriage and he later became a preacher. That preacher believes that since I have been married my husband can never be a preacher. But when Jesus saved us he washed all our sins away and remembers them no more. So to Jesus I have never been married before. I have never gotten into the conversation with him about that but if it ever came up I would let him know what God said on it. Thats why I trust God's word and not what man thinks.

People disagree with people, it matters not what your religion, faith or relationship. You don't agree with everyone all the time. That is a fact of life.

However, if you are talking about doctrine that is were you will find different denomination. That is from different doctrines.

The Holy Bible is very clear. If we follow what it tells us...and not what man tells us, we will be better off, love one another and live in harmony. However, that does not mean we will always agree with one another.

Peace be with you.

We are still human. Of course we dont always agree on things, but its the way we handle it that makes us different to everyone else. We don't go for personal attacks, we sort out our differences. So the answer is yes we do dis agree, and pls be mature about it, don't call it an orgy

Have you not noticed that they fight as much between themselves as they do with everyone else? Just look at some of the nasty things said here about Catholics by Protestants (and vice versa).

They've just banded together, more or less on here, because there are so many Atheists on here and they're feeling attacked.

On certain things, yes, we do disagree. I'm a christian, and I find nothing wrong with homosexuality (though I'm straight myself). I also believe the theory of evolution. I don't believe the stories of 'Adem and Eve', and 'Noah's Ark'. Just small things like that.
