Wow.....tough one. My wife and I have been married for 27 years (next month) ......the first and only marriage for both of us. She has no problem with who I put on my messenger or with who I talk to and I have no trouble with who she has on her messenger or who she talks to. That being said....we try to keep the lines of communication open between us. The last thing in the world I'm worried about is my wife cheating on me........and she feels the same way about me. Actually I DO get along with woman better than I do with men. My two best friends are women. One of them I have know since high school......and I see her at least once a week. I was actually living with the other friend and her mom when I met my wife. She has since moved to Washington State but we keep in touch with calls and yahoo messenger.... The book keeper and receptionist @ my job think of me as "one of the girls" ......and they talk about things around me that make me cover my ears and run screaming from the room..... So I'm not sure what to tell you.....I think it all comes down to trust......maybe he has trusted someone in the past and they burned him. Ultimately you have to do what you have to do.......and to hell with what everybody else thinks.

What a load of crap. Blair is my IM buddy, and I even have a guy in my wedding party on my side. Jealousy has no place in my life, and that sucks that he is doing that. :(
