I just downloaded Registry Mechanic.. I read the reviews saying it sped up their computer.. I want to regain the speed when i first got my computer a year ago.. Im willing to spend up to 30 bucks for a program to speed up my system.. Any programs?

You already got good answers. It will be a good idea to gain more knowledge before spending money and luckily the knowledge comes freely. Also think of increasing the RAM if possible. Too many programs starting up when you boot the system can slow it down.
