You're going to have to make a choice.
Either you are happy to love him, despite him not being as much of a hottie as you wanted, or he's not good enough and you're looking for something better.

Um, yeah...well first of all you will never know if you want to marry someone by phone. As sad as it is, you have to be physically attracted to someone. But I guess love could grow if you''re not. But, its hard. Do whatever makes you happy. If you can not see yourself with him forever than get rid of him. Dont waste your time. Go find someone you can talk to in person...and a real man that can propose the right way...in person!!! That is just pathetic! Proposing over the phone?! Sorry...but hes a loser!!!

Be honest about how you feel...before someone gets hurt. Learn from your mistake by not getting involved so deeply from only communicating on the phone. That way you won't set yourself up for disappointment. Face to face contact is always better...that way you know who and what your dealing with...no surprises.

Appearance is not important in a long term relationship. If you like him for his personality - give him a chance. Theres more to guys that good looks.
If you think appearance is VERY important to you, then forget about him, and find yourself a hottie.

ohmigod! you must get to know him properly (i.e. face to face) before you can decide if you like him or not. what if every time that you speak to him on the phone, he's got his hands down his pants but you just never know about it? what if he has a severe twitch in his neck that means he headbutts you from time to time? what if he can't help but grab older womens' breasts when they walk past?
you must get to know him in real life!
