I have no regrets because the tattoo I have I drew up when I was 18 but I waited till I was 23 to get it! I wanted to make sure that is what I still wanted!

I've got 3 tattoos, a Welsh Dragon on my shoulder which i dont regret cos it means alot to me, i have a butterfly on my arm which matches my sisters so again means alot to me. The other i do regret, its a little black bat on my ankle that i got when i was 17. I had it done in MAgaluf with friends, basically they were getting 1 so i decided to get 1 too! I didnt put any thought into and it doesnt mean anything so i do regret that 1 but not the others.
I think if you get them for a reason, or put alot of thought into the design its ok but sometimes people get them on the spur of the moment and then regret them.

I have never had any regrets and my (large) tattoo on my shoulder flowing down my back is beautiful every day I see it. It's fine line black and grey (no color) and it is a trail of morning glories in memory of my grandmother and also as a 35th birthday present to myself. I got it in NYC, which is a very good place to find an artist. Word of mouth is the best barometer of talent. I think that if I had gotten my tattoo when I was younger I would have regretted it.
I have had the tattoo for 14 years and for my 45th birthday I had my nipples pierced. So how's that for open-mindedness? For my birthday this year I think I am going for a labia piercing, double sided. Does anyone here know anything about that, like does sex pose a problem? Can sex pull them out? Does it make sex painful? Any advice would be appreciated. You can email me here.

No, I don't regret any of my tattoos. I have 7 and will be getting my 8th soon. I have them on my back, wrist, ankle and calf. The next one I am getting is to complete the one on my back. I am adding to the design.
I love tattoos. My father had them and I always wanted them. I didn't start until I was 43 though. They weren't acceptable until then. I decided I had waited long enough and when the year 2000 came, I had my first ones done on my calf. It is a vine that goes to my toes and winds up my calf with 2 very detailed butterflies. I get a lot of compliments on it.
People who regret their tattoos, really didn't think it through. I had years to think about it and I love every bit of pain I had to get them.

Yes and No. I'll explain!
I got a butterfly next to my belly button, then my boyfriend at the time's name on my breast (I know, shoot me), then a bee the otherside of my belly button. At the time, I didn't regret them, nor did I listen to anyone who told me I would!
Now however, I've had two children, so my belly is in no state to be showed off! I defo don't regret getting them though, they make my belly look better than it would without them...and they help to hide the stretchmarks too! I'm not with the mentioned boyfriend, so I regret that one BIG TIME. My boyfriend now, the father of my children has the same name though, so I was lucky, because it could've been much worse! At least if it happens to get seen when I'm in a bikini (which it doesn't, as it's low down), people will assume it's him.
So to sum up, DON'T ever get anyone's name on you! And if you have them on your belly, beware that once you have children, they might not look so good...but live while you can, just live sensibly!

I have one tattoo, i got it about four months after i turned eighteen and i do not regret it at all. I got it on my right foot... it's a treble clef. I don't regret it because it truly symbolizes a part of my life, and a huge chunk of who i am. I put it in a perfect place and i think it's sexy creeping out of my high heels. I put it in a place where i can still have a professional career. I"m planning on getting at least two more.

I don't regret mine at all, am going to get another 1!! I got an eye of Horus on my right ankle. I waited for ages before geting it done so I knew it was what I really wanted and that I wouldn't regret it.

NO way! I have a small turtle on my right foot, and I still love it. The only thing I regret about my tattoo was the geographical location. I got it in a small village in Costa Rica... and the tattoo parlor wasn't especially clean. I got lucky, and I didn't catch any funkies that I know of!

i don't regret my tattoos. i even have tattoos that i got covered up, but i don't regret them, i just regret not being informed about artists and thier talent level. oh well, you live and you learn.
i am working on my full backpiece (my profile picture) which i HOPE will be finished by december... we'll see
i have a skull on my right foot
i have a korean takeout box with a fortune cookie on my left foot (so far my favorite tattoo)
and i'm not done yet!
