Anytime between the ages of 18 and 48.
There are so many individual-specific factors involved that it is an impossibility to say what is a universal "best age" to have children. Financial situation, relationship situation, maturity level, habitation circumstances, educational experiences, job market, individual goals, personal health... etc. etc. All these things and more go into making a decision to have a child. Age is much less important. It simply depends on the person.

I think a good window is 22-35 any time before it and you've wasted some of your best opportunities in life, there is alot that happens between 18-22 that is fun and an adventure and its better to wait a little bit for the kids, if you want a career then you might want to wait til around 26, but remember pregnancy and child birth is hard on the body so waiting your 30's for your first wil not be easy on your body or getting up in the night to take care of it, after 35 the risk of babies born with health problems drastically increases. if you are having your first at this time and you are born with a "speacial child" for want of a better term it could be a severe emotional blow.
hope this helps you
ps you are never truly ready for children

Well the answer would be different for everybody....some people the best age is early 20's but some people just simply are not ready and it is best to have them in their 30's.
I had my first daughter when I was 19...she was not planned but wouldn't change it for the world. So for me that was the best time to have children.

When you are financially ready and patient and understanding. And you can handle waking up real early in the morning and late in the. When you can handle the horrible side effects of being pregnant and when you have time for one. I think you should be about 23 or so. I'm 18 and pregnant tho...but I think i can handle a baby. There are classes and all. I think it's more of a 'ready' stage than an age.

Age is only one factor in having children...affordability should also be considered...especially if you and your spouse are going to be both working or not.....it's best to have some sort of nest egg before having children...they are expensive....but a good age would be around 25.

Around 40 years old. That way you have time to become secure financially & emotionally. As well as developing a good relationship with your husband long BEFORE you ever have a child.

after college and starting a career make sure you are absolutely in love with the person before making a huge commitment of having a baby (they will be in your life forever)
