Yes, I would. I have! I am 25 and currently work in the mortgage industry.
I have 3 right now, but as soon as I get my masters and I don't have to worry about a job that won't allow it, I am getting a sleeve!
Currently I have a large dragon between my shoulder blades, a dragon fly on my tail bone and a star on my shoulder.
They are part of me, and I love them.
People have made comments about them being permanent and what happens when you are old! Someone at work recently asked me about these and my answer:
Every tattoo I have tells a story about part of my life. I remember every little detail that surrounds the time when I got them. Who my friends were, the decision surrounding what to get and where, I even remember what I was wearing when I got them. The pain, the pleasure, the weird stares. I remember it all. Its those small things that you remember throughout your life that have an impact. The past 10 years have flown by and I don't remember a lot about it. But when I am 70 sitting there with my grand kids, I will have some great memories to share. "Grandma got this one when she was 20!", and it will give me something to relate to them with! Don't think about it in the way of regret, just think it is a badge of honor that shows that you lived your life full and regret free!

A) im afraid or needles
B) im afraid of commitment
C) my dad would shoot me
however, i did design my own tattoo that I told myself I would get if I ever accomplished a certain goal I have in life.
Personally this is how I feel: DOnt get a tattoo just to get one, make it have a significant meaning, or background. Put it in a place where you are okay with is for the rest of your life. Remember thing like on your ankle and you nee to dress up in strappy heels, or your back when you wear a bathing suit...ect.

I am a 24 year old lass, and I do have a tattoo, its a wolf scenic (quite feminine) one on my lower back. I only had it done friday just gone. I had it done there, as I feel that a girl wearing a dress or strappy top and showing a tattoo doesnt really go. I never thought I'd have one done, but these days I'm surprising myself! lol. Getting one doesn't mean you trampy, but not having one doesnt make you a whimp either, its all about personal likes and dislikes, in reality you only have to please yourself, others will learn to accept.

I would get something somewhere that you wouldn't be able to see. If your tattoo shows at work, it looks very unprofessional & trashy ( unless you work at a tatoo parlor ). I also wouldn't get the "tramp stamp" , as guys call it , for numerous reasons. It would have to be something that has a meaning for me & not something I got because it was "in" or "fashionable" at the time. Make sure it's something that you would not mind having/would not regret when you are 70 years old. ( also, make sure it's not somewhere that will stratch out when you get pregnant)

I would definelty get a tattoo. I plan on getting one on my center back of a cross for my cousin that passed. Just a heads up don't get a tattoo on your lower back just because if and when the time comes for you to give birth they can't give you the shot that numbs you waist down.

Ive got two. One on my stomach and one on my back that I designed myself. I love tattoos and I think the right one in the right place can look really good.

i think its SOOOO stupid for girls to get a butterfly or a fairy on their body. I think the body is so special and if you are going to put artwork on it why wouldnt you put something of importance to you? How can some butterfly be significant? There is NO reason to get a tattoo just to have one.
ALSO, GIRLS PLEASE STOP WITH THE LOWER BACK TATTOOS!!!! ITS OLD!! PLAYED OUT!!!! THINK OF SOMETHING MORE ORIGINAL!

I would not want a tatoo b/c i think they are tacky! that is just my opinion tho. When you get older they start to fade and alot of folks regret them later on. Alot of kids want to get one when they turn 18 b/c its something they are able to get at that age. I just dont think they make a good impression especially if they are big or very noticable. If people get one they should put it in an area that is easier to cover up.

Mmm, probably not. Because you never know what could happen. And when you are older you may regret it. If I DID it would be somthing small and tasteful like a little heart, flower or butterfly, or humingbird. It would either be on my ankle or back but ankle would hurt a lot. Maybe even my wrist I always thought that would look nice.

maybe ? a yellow rose on one of my toes, a really cool cross. I don't have any. To all you teenage females out there, if you do get tattoos, please, DO NOT put a tattooed ring around your belly-button ! Whenever you get pregnant you will look like a target !
