umm I don't see anyone burning or torturing homosexuals in America today. My wife and I are like minded people, and we are both straight. And I didn't condemn you, I asked you a question. Why is it that you assume that you are being judged?

If by purpose you are implying that they can help themselves and that they are doing it on purpose you are entirely going in the wrong direction. Homosexuality has existed since the beginning of our species. We can find them in records dating back to when being a homosexual was no less punishable than murder. Why do you think these people would still be homosexual by their own choice if they knew they were going to be killed or tortured or burned for it? The answer is the same as if they said that love between a man and a woman was a sin, obviously we wouldnt stop even at the prospect of death. The person in here that said that homoosexuals are perverts is ignorant and I will say this: Look in your bible and follow the true meaning of God, do not condemn others because God will condemn you even worse:
But I promise you that if you are angry with someone, you will have to stand trial. If you call someone a fool, you will be taken to court. And if you say that someone is worthless, you will be in danger of the fires of hell.

you're incorrect from the commencing up. present day evolutionary theory would not assume that evolution works in the direction of the income of entire species. Tha's what Dawkins' "egocentric Gene" become all approximately. on condition that, however, there is no convincing argument i've got seen as to why homosexuality would not have been bred out of a inhabitants some time past. 2 opportunities: it is not a genetic trait. it is not straight away useful yet is linked with yet another trait or gene this is sensible. there is the same problem in attempting to account for the endurance of schizophrenia.

Everything that heterosexuality has, with the one exception..... procreation.

They are no different than heteros. Don't be so judgemental. Not all homosexuals are into it for self gratification. Some are in it for love and to feel complete too you know. Some people should think before they speak.

Other than self-gratification, what purpose do YOU serve? Answer that one logically, cause I can't think of any reason for your existence, and then we can discuss the finer points, like sexual preference. Don't be a jerk!

There's more to relationships than just sex you know, whether it be opposite or same sex. there's love, companionship, sharing interests. They are human beings with the same feelings as anyone else.

Companionship with a like minded person... The fact that one's desires does not mimic the religious leaders shows how small minded religious people can sometimes be. It's suprising that religious people don't also segregate left handers as well.
