Tricare may not pay, but the military just might. Women can be approved for tubal reversals, even though tricare will tell you that it is not covered. It is through the army that it is done. I know several women who have gotten reversals. They just had to travel to have it done....I think Texas? Ft....cr*p I cant remember. Just tell him to make an appt with his PCM to talk about it. Good luck!

If he's stillactive duty they will do this ONCE, but they will not hook it back up again when you are done having kids again. So either you pay now or pay later. Do your research and see which procedure is cheaper to do. I know years ago you could get them done at Planned Parenthood, but I don't know if the will reverse them also.

I doubt they will seeing as how they paid for the thing in the first place. The only reason they even did that was to save themselves money in the long run. Unless it was something that was harming him then you're probably SOL.
Even though they paid for lap band for my neighbor because she was too lazy to get out and lose the weight...go figure.

It's possible. When I was in the Air Force my supervisor, a female, had breast augmentation surgery in a military hospital (Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center) at the military's expense because she got a military psychologist to say that it was "necessary for her continued mental well-being and state of mind."
Almost ANYTHING in the military is waiverable...never hurts to ask.

No. The reason they paid for the procedure is because it saves them money in the long run. You know the old military saying "more kids more money".

Just a guess, but Im thinking you'll have to pay. If you have insurance, it shouldn't be a big deal though.

nope Chrissy..no insurance will pay for this...because i had this done too..but of course you signed that away when you had that operation the first time..Uncle Sam is gererous but not a fool.
This country is not treating the soldiers wounded in combat..soo you would have to wait in a long long line
p.s. thanks ...i think this is a good joke..but you got us going?
lol
