Jesus was a jew. If you don't treat a jew nicely which most Christians don't your failing your own god.

Am I missing something here?

Why would you say that Christians don't treat Jews nicely? My entire life I have had Jewish friends. I currently live in a community that is 95% Jewish. I've never heard that accusation and cannot understand where it's coming from.

Jesus said that we are to help all who are in need. He did not specify Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, atheist or Christian.

Luke 14:12, "When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just."

Christians should help everybody, not just Jews.
You see a lot of Christians thinking they must automatically support Israel and all it does, unconditionally. Others thinking Jews are a superior race.
Other Christians, or "Christians", take the opposite extreme, and are anti-Jew.
I believe if we follow the teaching of the New Testament, we will:
1. Seek the good of all people: Jews, Arabs, and everyone else.
2. Be grateful for the heritage we have received from the Jews.
3. Be able to applaud what is good and condemn what it is evil, no matter where it comes from.

A true Christian would have love for all people because the Bible says if you can't love a person who you can see, you CANNOT love a God you cannot see. Unfortunately, the thing which most Christians have in common with the Jews is that their own religious leaders are misleading them more than anyone else!!!

It is Jesus' desire to reconcile the Jews and the Gentiles into one new man (Ep 2:14-16). If Christians do not love and help the Jews they are not helping in the Lord's process of reconcilation. As Christ's ambassadors we must love and help the Jews, the spiritual Israel helping the natural Israel!

Where are you getting this info from? I am a Christian and I do not have a problem w/ Jews nor I know anybody that is Christian that have a problem w/ them.
We are to accept everybody no matter what religion, color, race, or whatever.
However I do not share my beliefs w/ them just because they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah, but I don't hate them.

We just discussed this in church. A "true" Christian would treat others as Jesus himself would have treated someone. We will be judged by our God and rewarded accordingly by our place in Heaven. A "poser" is someone who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. These are the ones who are not true to ALL aspects of faith and give the rest of us a bad rep. These are also the ones who will fail judgment and rot in Hell for eternity.
Unfortunately, there are many "posers" in all faiths - Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Mormon.... They believe what is convenient for their personal life and condemn everyone and everything that does not fit their ideas. Thus - the atrocities against many and the wars that never end.

I don't know where you're getting your info about Christians not treating Jews nicely. All the Christians I know treat Jews nice. We know that the nation that blesses Israel will be blessed by God.

I agree that we should treat the Jewish nation kindly; but not because Jesus was born of a Jew. We should do it because it is the right thing to do; treat all men with kindness and respect.

I agree with you. I believe the reason America has been so blessed as a nation is because we have supported and allied with Israel. Sometimes Gentile 'Christians' forget that they were only given the opportunity to be saved because the Jews refused Christ. It would be stupid to treat them as less of a people when God chose them first.
