There is practically no coversion into hinduism... some asrams do practice ritualistic conversion.. but that is not complusory
The best thing to start with would be studying Gita... so as not to confuse in the crowd of gods (LOL)
Hinduism is a beautiful religion and believes that the Cosmos is the body of God, and all of us have God as our innermost consciousness.
Please remember rituals, idols, temples...all make just 10% of hinduism... rest 90% is philosophy, which is the backbone of hinduism (also for Buddhism, sikhism and jainism)
Gita will be a good start

Are you kidding me?... first of all Hindu doesn't choose what god he/she should pray, they pray all the gods..most hindu prays popular gods like: SHIVA, KHRISNA, BHISNU,DURGA and so on... Secondly they don't pray specific prayers for everything..usually they have couples of universal prayers which is as always for protection and proper guidance.... and last, you cannot be hindu just by going to temples or any other rituals, you have to be born as a hindu in a hindu family...this may sound unwelcoming but this religion has a long long history and lots of traditions and customs...so you can't just call yourself hindu..... but nowadays or since British colonized India there have been lots of foreign Hindu devotees..... I'm not an expert on this but if you really want to become hindu then it's best to go to the temples and ask the Pujari,Baba(priest) there to make you hindu I am sure he'll do some mantres and some rituals to make you hindu...he will always have something for you... but I think you can be HIndu just by going to temples or any hindu whorshipin place and just get to know some people there gather some knowledge and get involved in hindu festivals and so on...
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS YOU DON'T HAVE TO REGISTER OR TAKE A OATH OR DO A REGULAR PRAYERS OR EVEN GO TO TEMPLES TO BE HINDU...ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR HEART AND SOUL TO BE HINDU AND A GOOD KNOWLEDGE...IF YOU HAVE THAT ...THEN YOU ARE HINDU..
yes I am hindu too... but more like a spiritual

Well, to tell you the truth there is no way to become a hindu unless you were born in India, which I'm guessing you werent since you're asking how to become one. Now if you'd like to practice their religion, then that's a whole different subject. Do a search online as to what books you can read and places where their religion is practiced. If you attend one of their worship ceremonies then you might want to speak with someone who can answer all of your questions regarding their religion. Good luck to you, hope I helped a little. --->FYI: I also love the Hindu culture, I've always been drawn to it.

If your husband is a Hindu, then talk to his family and worship with them. There is no "conversion" procedure. The god you choose would be the best one that suits you. Lots of options and just like your long distance carrier, you can always change your mind.
Jesus is better tho.

welcome , you are already a hindu
hindu wives chant "Om namah shivaya" for well-being of their hubbies and family , There is a fasting "Karvachauth" also for long life of husband
Choosing god is personal choice. In hinduism we worship the same God with different names and qualities
Krishna - as a lover
Shiva -as father
Shakti - as Mother
Ganesh - as remover of obstacles
Hanuman-as strong and divine lover
