My 6 and 8 year-old sons drive eachother...and me...to distraction with realtively harmless, but irritating teasing (finger in the other's ear, scribble on the other's homework, hide the other's toy, etc.) I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing seems to work. Any advice?

This sounds like totally normal sibling behavior...my 3 do the same stuff and add irritating remarks in with the teasing.

When you find a solution, please post it so all parents can see!

Parents have been looking for a solution to this problem for years. I'm sure (if you have siblings) you remember doing/having the same thing done to your siblings.
If there's no aggression, let them be. If one or the other has the habbit of bringing these silly teasings to your attention you simply tell them both you're not solving the issue it will be for them to figure it out. (as opposed to telling/yelling one or the other to continuously stop)
Believe it or not, the teasings will slow down, but will probably never stop.

Sibling rivalry it is perfectly normal and is annoying! My twins drive me crazy with fighting. They will most likely grow out of it and be best friends as teenagers and adults. Hang in there I know what you are going through.

Try finding ways of doing arts and crafts so they will cooperate with each other and wont get out of control!! Then you could suggest that they help you cook and they will work together on getting ingredients and wiil have nice team work!!

Not much of a problem. They're probably just being boys and fooling around.

come one that's normal! but if it gets a little rough, how about some punishments? go from mild consequences.. or make them do something together.
