he probably wouldn't know anyway....but....
you would want to ask this question differently...something like .."you're my friend and if you were a guy and someone asked you what it would take to win your heart what would you tell him...uh, her?" lol
and of course he'll prob lie or make something up ....
I think you like hiiimmm!...if you really dont, then why ask?
all a girl has to do to win the guys heart is be sweet, open and honest , trusting to a point, smell nice, dont be demanding, but strong , and expect him to be the same..which is next to impossible, so be very cautious sweetie...take it from an older gentleman...most guys will take what they can from you and run...keep your clothes on and all things will be fine ...

You could phrase the question more casually, if you don't want him to know. Especially, since he is your friend, just try to direct your conversation into the direction of dating/girlfriends, and then ask him, what kind of girl he would be interested in. That way, it bears on the conversation, without necessarily implying that the information is pertaining to yourself. You could also just come right out and ask him, just let him know that you just wondered about it, or tell a fib and say that someone you know asked you about him, but be careful, because that could backfire, and he may ask you who wants to know. if u dont want him, then no reason to ask that kind of question. if u ask that, it mean u want to win his heart. if u not, it mean nothing special happend between both of u.
