No they don't. I've taken Xendrine, Cortislim, Dexitrim, TrimpSpa, Hoodia, and I'm sure a few others and none have worked. They used to work about 5 years ago when they could have ephedra in them. I lost 20lbs then. Some of them will give you energy but they don't make you magically lose weight.

if u really want to lose weight. this is what u can do. grill or boil 3oz of chicken breast, make sure theres no fat. eat with 8oz of green veggies 3 times a day. for snack make some fat free jello or have like 2 pieces of fat free rice cakes. drink alot of water. add crystal light into the water. u can lose up to 10 pounds a week.

try some chromium. it prevents you from eating sweets.
weight loss tablets might help you to put off some kilograms. what you really want is to look good and slim, isn´t it? for this reason you should eat less and healthier; and excercise. there will be results only after you changed your way of living. i have been throug such process.

If you could take a pill to lose weight there would be no fat people!! All they really do is speed up your metabolism. If you want to lose weight then do it yourself....you'll feel so much better.
