My German Shepherd went in season almost six weeks ago. I let her past because she is still pretty young and I won't breed her until she is about 2 years old and becomes more mature. However she is still swollen. Does it take that long before the swelling goes down completely. I am started to get worried hoping she does'nt have an infection.

My bulldog had the same thing happen and she had an infection. I'd get her checked out to be on the safe side.
