John 4:1 Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John 2 (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples), 3 he left Judea and departed again for Galilee.

Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. It is through baptism that we become adopted children of God.

After his resurrection Christ commanded the apostles to go fore and make disciples of all nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the son and the holy spirit (Matthew 28 18-20)

There are many references in the Bible where Jesus uses this word or makes a reference to baptism.

Mark 1:6-8
Mark:16:15-16
John 1:12
John: 3-5
Acts 2:38
Roman 8:14-17
Titus 3:4-7

The Baptism of John the Baptist did not have the same power as the baptism instituted by Christ. The Baptism by John was intended to arouse in souls sorrow for sins. The Baptism instituted by Christ produces grace

Well, I cannot think of anywhere that says that He did, I only remember a verse that clarified that it was not him, but his disciples that did the actual baptism.

John 4:1 The Pharisees heard that Jesus was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John, 2 although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples. 3 When the Lord learned of this, he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.

No. John 4:1, 2. 'When, now, the Lord became aware that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John— although, indeed, Jesus himself did no baptizing but his disciples did."

Jesus Baptized no one in water, In St. John 1:33 John the Baptise, said that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Ghost, But that also had to be done after Christ ascended up to heaven to be seated upon the throne of mercy & he sent back the Holy Ghost.

There's no mention of it in what's left of the bible. John the Baptist, like his cousin Jesus, was an Essene Jew. It's historical fact: Essenes were vegetarians, promoted communal living and believed devoutly in reincarnation and karma. Baptism was an expression of the belief in reincarnation, as was the message "Truly, literally, you must be born again."
