OKay I found out that my boyfriend didn't really like me in the love way so I asked his best friend why he would go out with me if he didn't like me that way and she didn't know. I asked him out and I thought that if he didn't like me he wouldn't go out with me. Why would he do that. I dumped him so it is over just wondering why he would do that. It kind of hurt when I found that out.

Only that person can give you the real and honest reason on that one...but will you be able to believe what they tell you?
Who knows why people do the hurtful things they do in this life. It is good to go through them sometimes so we learn from our mistakes.
I would move on with your life and not worry about the reasons why. Leave the past in the past...you can not change it anyways...and move on with new knowledge that there are a lot of people out there who are users and who are not very nice.
Just remember that there are some good people out there too.

be cool...

there are so many many answers to this question. I don't even know where to start. But I'll summarize...

when you asked him out you didn't ask him to go out with you in the ''LOVE'' way. If the way you composed this question is the same way you asked him out, then I'm sure he ( like me) also didn't understand the ''love way'' kind of relationship he was getting into.

He probably didn't want to hurt you when you asked him out, or he did like you, and wanted to try it out, but it dried up in the end. As for the non-hurting part, if that is the case, he didn't take into full consideration the path of the relationship. Sorry about that =(

Maybe he isnt straight? If he has a best friend thats a girl.... he cant be all straight anyway! I think that he just wanted to be with someone, liked the idea of being inlove but really wasnt. Good that you are wise enough to leave, you get some girls who would wanna stay and change him.

Okay, well if his best friend is a girl he may be gay, and looking for a cover up. Or he was just looking for sex, which is what 95% of us guys are looking for!

Yeah it hurt but some guys just don't get it. No guy is worth crying over and the one that is you won't cry. Hope this helps!

he probably did that just so he could go around sayin that he was datin someone...or he just didnt wanna make you feel bad so he just said "yes"...get over him and go find someone who actually wants to date you.
